The Remodeling Process
Remodeling your kitchen or other important room in your home can seem overwhelming to some people. At Kitchen Art Design Center, we're here to guide you through every step. We not only want to provide your dream kitchen. we also want you to have a dream experience in the process.
To Begin.
The purpose of our first meeting will be to understand your existing layout, your ideas, and the changes you'd like to make. Prior to this meeting, you may want to collect pictures and/or magazine pages that show us what you would like. If you are purchasing new appliances, we will discuss your choices. A visit to our extensive showroom will focus on cabinetry style and color. All this information will be coordinated and we will compile a preliminary price that we refer to as a "guesstimate."
To Proceed
Once your initial wishes are discussed and a budget is established for your project, our people spring into action. The Kitchen Art Design Center design department will provide detailed drawings and elevations, which will be used by everyone involved throughout the project. All cabinet sizes and placements are clarified on these drawings, which will give you a good view as to how your future kitchen or other room will look. Of course the designs are subject to your approval prior to commencement of any further work.
To Order
With all details in design and selections finalized, we will prepare your cabinet order. The first payment of 50% of the total cost, less any design retainer previously received, is due at this time. Once your order is placed and confirmed by the manufacturer, an approximate lead time is given for delivery. An additional 40% payment is due when the cabinets are delivered to your home. The final 10% balance is due when the installation is complete.
To Finish
Countertops and appliances are installed after the cabinets, of course. There are always some touch ups and adjustments that need to be handled after these are complete. Our service department will work with you in scheduling a time for this.
Based on decades of experience, our clients tell us that working with Kitchen Art Design Center made their remodeling project smoother and more pleasant than they could have ever imagined. That is our goal and expresses our level of commitment to providing you with the kitchen, bath, wall unit/entertainment center, media center, home office, laundry room, closet, or wet bar of your dreams.
